Give A Man A Fish is a live game project about economics, political decision-making, sustainability and economic justice - and a whole lot of fishing!
Players become the leaders of the tribes of Simmerstrand, a once-mighty fishing city on the ancient coast of the Azur Sea. Ravaged by a great disaster, they must rebuild the city, feed and grow their population, develop their fishing technology to improve their economy, and compete for political power, creating new laws to mould the world as they see fit.
And deep below in the depths of the Azur Sea, the Great Fish God H’Vaaluk watches, judging their worthiness, ready to reward or punish them according to Her whims.
Will they collaborate and share the sea’s wealth or compete to corner the market and achieve economic domination? Our dedicated game facilitation team are there to help them achieve any approach they want to try!
Suitable for schools, businesses and community groups, Give A Man A Fish will continue to develop throughout 2025 with a view to creating applications for different contexts, including a large-scale immersive experience and a board game which can be played at home.
